Our Impact
More than half of Escambia County children are not ready to enter kindergarten. These are children who may not have access to books, may have unique family dynamics, or might need a little extra help to start school on the same academic level as their peers. Our mission is designed to help bridge that gap through one-on-one mentorships for our community’s youngest learners and ongoing support and resources for their families - all in support of our vision that ALL children start school ready to learn.
Ways to Get Involved
From mentoring Pre-K students; equipping families to be their child’s first, best, and most important teacher; and supporting our local educators, we work daily toward supporting the children in our community in being ready when they enter kindergarten.
